Revolutionize the Way You Use Toothpaste
Could you imagine walking into a store and seeing toothpaste packaged in something other than a tube?
This is an industry that has basically been stagnant for over 30 years. Toothpaste tubes are wasteful, unsanitary, and a sore sight in any home. My product eliminates the need for a tube completely, by using a free standing dispenser specifically created for an insertable cartridge. The cartridge holds the same 6.5 ounces of toothpaste a tube does so that you won’t be losing any product! All you have to do is place the cartridge into the dispenser and let the pump do the rest of the work for you. Toothpaste is something you use each and every day, (I hope!) so why are we still wasting our time with messy and unattractive tubes? It’s time to make a change.
The Pump
The dispenser itself is a free standing container that encases a cartridge. Imagine a nice soap dispenser scaled down to about half the size. There is a way to screw off the top of the dispenser and there will be an attached pump on top. The base and pump can be composed of plastic, glass, stainless steel, metal, ceramic, porcelain, etc. The logic behind this is to make sure the pump flows seamlessly with pre-existing bathroom decor. There’s no reason for something that you use every day to be ugly! The pump is designed to hold a cartridge filled with whatever substance will be used. (In this case, toothpaste. But the opportunities are endless!) The cartridge can be composed of plastic or cardboard with a removable plastic seal to serve as a way to keep the substance fresh until use. Uses for the cartridge and pump can easily be expanded to: lotion, hand sanitizer, soap, shampoo, conditioner, creams, gels, and any other substance than can be pumped.
The Cartridge
When you buy toothpaste, you're getting it in a thick plastic tube encased by cardboard that you’re just going to throw away the second you get home. Instead, my invention lets you pick up a cartridge at the store (no extra packaging needed) and immediately pop it into the dispenser once you’ve taken that protective film off. It will be the only product of its kind on the shelves, and it may even save you a buck or two! It’s designed in a shape similar to a “V” so that you get every last bit of toothpaste. And when it’s out, just take it out and throw it away proudly because you know that you’re reducing waste!

New Markets
If you're like me, you tend to buy anything that's new and different. There won't be anything like this on the market! If you're someone who has trouble squeezing a tube, there's finally an invention that allows you to use toothpaste more easily! Have kids? This is simple enough for them to use on their own!
Perfect Pump Every Time
Squeezing a tube isn't science, sometimes too much or too little toothpaste comes out. My design only requires one press of the pump to get the correct amount of toothpaste needed for your standard size toothbrush.
Less Germs
Have you ever cringed as you watched someone borrow your toothpaste and they touch the tube with their toothbrush? No more! The pump makes it so sharing is more sanitary, something you're cleaning your mouth with shouldn't be covered in germs!
Flawless Design
Do you like having your toothpaste tube on display for everyone to see? No! I hide mine anywhere I can, shoving it into the nearest drawer or cabinet. My invention comes in many different finishes so that it doesn't interrupt the flow of current bathroom decor.
I Need Your Support
I want to create a Kickstarter for this invention, but first I want to make sure people will want it!
I want your honesty. If you would buy this product, PLEASE enter your name and email below to let me know that! You won't get any spam, you'll just get an email letting you know I've made a kickstarter. If you don't think you would buy this product, then that's fine! Not everyone will love it and I understand that. I just want to see if this could be a success. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to email me at the address listed at the bottom of this page!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ THIS!
-p.s. I do have intellectual property for all of this so don't try to beat me to it! I'm way ahead of you!
